Cole’s Patakiller

I found a caterpillar in my garden which Cole has been SO excited about! We put him in a jar. Cole talks about him constantly, what he’s doing, where his parents are, what he eats, when he will turn into a butterfly, etc. He wanted to take him to bed with him because he didn’t want to miss him changing into a butterfly. First thing this morning, he had to check on him & give him more food. He is so excited to watch his every movement. We’re just glad his first pet is a caterpillar!

4th of July Parade

We spent the 4th of July going to the Provo parade & getting to see Daxton & Jacoby in it, swimming at grandma Lori’s, BBQ, and fireworks. Here are a couple pics from the parade.

For Pleasant View’s Founders Day, my mom did a preschool float again, so my kids were in the parade. Following the parade, we took them to the pool in their festive red, white, blue swimsuits.

Boston

For Christmas, I gave Taylor tickets to a Red Sox game at Fenway. We flew out on Thursday and back on Sunday. It was really fun to get away, see the city, take in some historical sites, a game, eat some amazing food, and get back without missing the kids too much.
While we were there we were fortunate to see the North Church, Paul Revere’s statue, Fenway, Boston Commons, Fenuil Hall, Holocaust Memorial, downtown Boston, coast, the Pru, North End/Little Italy, State House, Old State House, LDS temple, etc. We ate yummy Italian sandwiches, canoli’s from Mike’s Pastry, clam chowda, pizza & hot dogs at Fenway, amazing homemade spaghetti, another canoli (Tay had a 10″ eclair), etc. It was a good trip, can’t wait to go back.
While we were gone, the phone rang at my mom’s house. She asked Cole if he wanted to get it and see if it was mommy. When she went in the kitchen, he handed her the phone and said it was Heavenly Father. When she listened, it was just a recording, but who’s to say he didn’t get to talk to Heavenly Father. :)

Zoo

We came home from Zion a day early and went to the zoo with Grandma Lori, Amy & kids. My kids are totally fascinated with all the animals. We had a couple too tired tantrums, but it was a fun day!
