I’m thankful for:
1- My amazing husband – the last couple days he’s been out of commission with a bad back. I don’t realize how much I need and rely on him until I don’t have his help. He is so extremely supportive, talented, and good looking (when he shaves!).
2- My Cole – he escaped out of Children’s Place in Park City last Thursday and was lost for about 15 minutes. We had tons of people helping us look for him, called the sheriff, etc… when we finally found him in the toy store. I can’t tell you the emotional heartache that you experience when you can’t find your 2 year old little boy and start thinking of all the horrible things that could happen to him.
3- My Hallie – what a sweet and beautiful little girl. She is totally in a “momma’s girl” stage. There is nothing better than walking in a room and watching her whole face light up.
4- My Brighton – what a cheese ball grinner! She has started this “mousy face” where she scrunches up her whole face and sniffs in and out really fast. It’s hilarious, but she won’t do it when I grab the camera. I don’t think there is a person that has met her that doesn’t just fall instantly in love with her.
5- My health – I hurt my neck probably when I tripped and fell yesterday, but I take for granted all that my body can do normally.
6- Family – what a great and supportive family we have! Thanks for all of you that help out with our kids!
7- Work – we are lucky to both have jobs that we enjoy most of the time, that pay the bills.
8- Jesus Christ – I wish I was better at keeping focused on what is really important in life.
9- House – I really enjoy decorating and furnishing our beautiful home. I just wish cleaning was as much fun.
10- Holiday Season – I love this time of year, all the traditions, family get togethers, and Christmas spirit!

I keep thinking I’m going to wait to post until I have cute pictures to post. Well, I’m not going to wait for pictures… I’ll add them later. Here’s what’s new in the last month.

Cole is a fish. He is taking swim lessons and does really good. He’s always been comfortable in the water with water wings or life vest, but he isn’t afraid of anything and wasn’t safe (he’ll just jump in). The goal of swim lessons is to help him be safe in the water. He is amazing though, with the fins on he can swim across the width of the pool keeping his head out of the water. He’s getting better about using his arms too! Way to go Cole! We took Coley miniature golfing last week – he did pretty good for the first few holes, then he’d just put the ball in the hole and yell “I did it”, throwing his arms up in the air.

Hallie is a jumping, smiling, talking baby girl. She loves the jumper and can jump with both legs. Every time she is in the jumper, I just sit and gawk in amazement at her jumping abilities. I mean seriously, she’s only 3 months old and she can jump. She will smile, goo, blow bubbles, and talk to anyone who will talk to her. She only has one smile, super big, open mouth, huge grin that lights up her whole face. She is super sweet and those cheeks are too kissable to resist.

Brighton is a doll. She likes the jumper and will stand in it and pick up her legs, but doesn’t jump yet. She is much more talkative and smiley than she used to be. I got her to giggle once a couple days ago tickling her – it was so stinkin’ cute. She loves toys, but studies them before she grabs, kicks, or bats at them. She is my little scooter – lying on her back, she will scoot off the blanket pushing with those long skinny legs.

Taylor’s back is getting better – he starts physical therapy today. We’ve been camping and boating two weekends in a row. It was really fun to get out in nature, 4-wheel, sit around the fire, play games, go boating, etc. It was a little crazy taking 3 babies camping, but we managed thanks to help from our awesome family.

I went back to work a couple weeks ago. I just work 2 days a week and a few hours from home. The kids have done great at daycare, thanks to a great daycare team. It’s been a good fit as I get a little time away from my kids doing a job I enjoy and feel like I make a difference at, yet I still get 5 days at home with my kids – so I don’t feel like I’m missing out on their lives. Now, if I could just afford to hire a housekeeper and cook – I’d have the perfect life.

Cole:
– Talking up a storm. He slurs sentences into one word – said with a Chinese Accent (not sure where he gets that).
– Some of my favorite words are: Wynon (lion), klynon (climbing), cwynon (crying), toye (toy), snack (said very nasally), whatyadowing (What are you doing?), ineedatoye (I need a toy), sawsaw (sorry), help, sawing (swing), me (come with me), i-jumping (I’m jumping), i-fall (I fell).
– He does pushups on Taylor’s perfect push up handles and grunts everytime he bends his arms.
– He pulls all the pillows off the couch and dives on them, hides under them, and lays in them.
– He plays the Wii with Taylor – yelling “swing” everytime he moves, and cheering after each swing.
– He is moving non-stop – either running, jumping, skipping, or diving to the floor and then rolls around!
– Sings his AA’s (ABC’s)… most the letters are still A, but he is filling in more and more letters later in the alphabet. He is also recognizing letters in books, TV, and on billboard/signs – calling them A’s. He even gets on the scale and when we ask how much he weighs.. his answer is ‘A’.
- He is at the top of the charts for his height (37 in) and 95% for his weight (33 lbs).

Hallie:
- Getting more responsive… she’ll make eye contact and sometimes even smiles.
- Growing like a weed – she is now 10 lbs.
- Burps like a man
- Watches TV
- On her tummy, she pushes up and looks around

Brighton:
- Her reflux is getting better
- Growing like a weed – she is now 9 lbs.
- Holds her head up so strongly
- Watches everything when she is awake
- Her hair is growing in blonde
