Boston
For Christmas, I gave Taylor tickets to a Red Sox game at Fenway. We flew out on Thursday and back on Sunday. It was really fun to get away, see the city, take in some historical sites, a game, eat some amazing food, and get back without missing the kids too much.
While we were there we were fortunate to see the North Church, Paul Revere’s statue, Fenway, Boston Commons, Fenuil Hall, Holocaust Memorial, downtown Boston, coast, the Pru, North End/Little Italy, State House, Old State House, LDS temple, etc. We ate yummy Italian sandwiches, canoli’s from Mike’s Pastry, clam chowda, pizza & hot dogs at Fenway, amazing homemade spaghetti, another canoli (Tay had a 10″ eclair), etc. It was a good trip, can’t wait to go back.
While we were gone, the phone rang at my mom’s house. She asked Cole if he wanted to get it and see if it was mommy. When she went in the kitchen, he handed her the phone and said it was Heavenly Father. When she listened, it was just a recording, but who’s to say he didn’t get to talk to Heavenly Father.
