Cole wanted to carve a pumpkin so bad this year. He picked the carving tools, pattern (castle with ghost), pumpkin, and helped his dad carve it! He was funny about putting his hand in it, but eventually did and was totally excited with the finished product. Way to go boys!

My mom, sister, and I took the kids to the Scarecrow Festival for Thanksgiving Point. They had a ball riding the train, going down the slides, playing games, and Cole loved getting to sit in the helicopter.

Taylor and I have been planning our 5th anniversary celebration trip to Hawaii pretty much since we got married. It was amazing! We went to Oahu and Kauai for 8 days. We went to many beaches, Waikiki, snorkeled in Hanauma Bay, met Tay’s cousin Jordan for dinner, scuba dived Makaha wreck and lava tubes (seeing dolphins, turtles, octopus, puffer fish, eels, eagle rays, sharks, etc), golfed, Byodo-in temple, visited the Laie Temple, Polynesian Culture Center, North shore Oahu, went to church in Kauai, hiked part of the Napali Coast, zip lined over the Kauai jungle, saw the Waimea Canyon, hiked to remote waterfalls, Kayaked the Wailua river, visited the Fern Grotto, lighthouse, Spouting Horn, and took a sunset cruise to the Napali Coast. It was gorgeous and an amazing trip! Thanks mom & Lori for keeping the kids!
