Taylor and I went snowboarding last week! I was totally scared cuz I haven’t been in 3 years. It was totally fun and great weather. I got new boots last time we went and new bindings this year & what a difference it made. I was comfortable in my gear, now if I could just get comfortable on the slopes. I caught my edge a couple times resulting in a sprained pinkie finger. I fell trying to avoid hitting a kid when getting off the lift, resulting in a nasty bruise on the back of my knee. By the time we left, I could turn pretty well and keep myself at a comfortable speed without completely stopping. All in all… a great day with very limited injuries!

A couple weeks ago, we took Cole to see Walking with Dinosaurs, he loved it! He kept pointing and saying, “look mom, dinosaurs” and then he’d imitate the growling noises they were making. When they’d fight he’d get all excited and then worried that the dinosaurs were going to be okay. He saw these pics on my phone last week while we were waiting to be seated at a restaurant and couldn’t stop looking through them. He was all excited again, just looking at the pictures. So cute! Plus, it’s amazing that he knows how to go from picture to picture, enlarge, zoom, etc all on the iphone.
