C-section Postponed
Well, we just got the results of the amnio this morning and the twins’ lungs aren’t mature… so the c-section has been postponed until April 17th. Normally, they would reschedule an amnio for next week, but since it was so difficult to find a spot to put the needle with two babies, placentas, cords, etc – my doctor would just rather schedule the c-section for the following week (38 weeks), which is the longest they’d leave the twins anyway.
I’m bummed. I got my hopes up and had everything scheduled, just to have to turn around and reschedule everything. I’d much rather keep the girls inside for two more weeks than have them have to be in the NICU. I’m not comfortable, but we’ll make it work!
