Well, I’ve come to a sad realization… I’m not wonder woman! It’s taken me 29 years, 1 month, 3 weeks, 15 hours, and 57 minutes to come to this realization… and I’m sure that even though I know this now, I’ll still try to prove myself wrong. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been able to do anything I wanted to do and made my impossible schedule work with determination and planning. Well, I’ve met my match… my 3 children. They don’t follow my schedule, they don’t care about my plans, they are oblivious to time, and when one cries, they all cry. It takes me 2.5 hours to get us all showered, bathed, dressed, and fed in the morning. It takes an additional hour to get out the door to go anywhere. It takes 4 trips to the car just to get everyone loaded. It takes 2 carts (or a stroller and a cart) to go grocery shopping. And we go through diapers (minimum of 25 diapers a day) and wipes with extreme efficiency.

I have been able to keep up on my laundry, dishes, and bills, while taking care of my adorable 3 children… and at this stage, I’m going to have to be satisfied with that. I’m going to have to concede that I can’t do everything alone, and that all the things I want to get done… will just have to wait!

Coley’s newest phrase is “psssst… hey”. Taylor and I were having a conversation the other day and Coley interrupted with “psst… hey”. We’re not sure where he learned it, but it’s hilarious that he’s kept it up the last few days. He has such a cute little sense of humor… he tells us jokes and stories (which of course we don’t have a clue what he’s saying) and then he laughs at himself like he’s told us the greatest thing.

He rides (runs) his stick horse around the house and then crashes and burns. We’re not sure why Coley’s horse is so clumsy, but that’s all part of the fun.
