The adventures of Cole

I love being home with Coley. He’s completely silly and full of energy, which most days just wears me out, but he’s cute nonetheless. Lately he is obsessed with swords and pretty much anything can be used as a sword – toy screwdrivers, plastic knives, spoons, drumsticks, spatulas, etc. He keeps getting into the kitchen drawers in search of different swords. Well after a million times of taking stuff away from him, Taylor finally put childproof latches on most of the drawers in the kitchen, but not all of them. Resourceful Coley came up with a new game with the stuff he can still get out. We’re not quite sure what the object of the game is or why it’s fun, but Coley got out 2 ziploc sandwich baggies. Putting his hand in one, he handed the other to his dad… who followed his lead and put his own hand in the baggie. Then Coley proceeded to give Taylor high-fives with his bagged hand and then laughed like he did the greatest thing. Taylor and I just giggled, again not understanding the purpose or rationale, but we enjoyed his laughter and creativity anyway.

But of course! It is Baghand Boy.

Maybe the joke for him is that he got his Dad to put the silly bag on his hand too…

Coley-boy is so funny! He has always had such a creative personality. He does whatever he wants, however he wants. I love it. I miss that little bug, soooo much.

Keep upating! I’m always checking.
