Cole is such a little monkey. He climbs everything; the couch, bar stools, chairs, tables, ladders, slides, pretty much anything he wants to climb. He is fearless- he climbs up on the desk and dives onto the couch. He is a dancing fool- anytime he hears music (restaurants, stores, home, etc) he starts to boogie. Last night some jazz music came on the TV and he started bouncing, jumping, stomping his feet, shaking his arms and head. Taylor and I just giggled – he has amazing rhythm. His newest thing is fascination with shoes, he steps in our shoes and tries to walk around. He even tries to put on his own shoes – he calls them “shace”. He’s figured out how to close doors. Yesterday, he shut himself in our closet and just knocked on the door until I let him out.

Taylor and I did the Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) procedure again and are pleased to announce that we are pregnant – due April 2008. Last week we found out that we are pregnant with twins! It was totally cool to see two little sacs and hear the 2 independent heart beats. We are excited, but obviously a little overwhelmed at the thought of having twins and a crazy 2 year old Cole. We’re going to need all the help we can get.

Taylor , Evan, Kendall, and I finished the decorative retaining wall in our front yard over labor day weekend. Taylor has finished the sprinkler system, he just has to put the sprinkler heads on. He still needs to complete the retaining wall on the side of our house (since our yard is higher than our neighbors) and build the frame for the boules court and then we’re ready for sod. The sod will be delivered next Thursday. YIPEE – grass! The only other things we are planning on doing in the yard this year is filling in the flower beds, planting bulbs and a few trees, rock for the boules court, and playground mulch around the trampoline. We’re not sure yet if we will be able to afford the swings this year or not.
