Last Friday, Cole rolled from his tummy to his back for the first time. He didn’t know what he had done, and was quite startled at first. He did it again a little while later on Friday, Saturday at Grandma Ehat’s, Sunday at Grandma Plowman’s, and today at home twice (once left, and once right). He still doesn’t quite get what he is doing, but we’re excited that he can roll over. Every new milestone is such an amazing thing at our house.
FYI – I finally put the pictures of Cole from the wedding in his tux on here.

Well, Coley and I survived my first week back to work. I’m just working part time – 3 days a week in the office, but it was enough to miss my little guy. I did surprisingly great – no tears, separation anxiety, and no excessive calls to the babysitter. Tay even got some alone time with Coley. It is truly priceless to come home and see Coley on Tay’s lap just chillin’.
Coley sucks on his fists, tongue, and lips now – making smacking noises most of the time. He tries to talk more, making all sorts of squealy little boy noises. He is really ticklish and sometimes even laughs. We took him swimming two weekends ago in Arizona and again on Monday the 24th at Cherry Hill Waterpark. He likes the water, kicks his legs, and watches everything around him.

Where does the time go? I can’t believe Coley is 2 months old already. He is almost 13 pounds now, growing like a weed! He is more and more responsive when you talk to him. He will watch your face and try to talk back, making the cutest boy noises ever! (I’m sure every baby makes cute noises, but he’s my first so of course they are the cutest ever.) It’s amazing how deep his little voice is already, definitely boy! I’ve started putting him in the jumper because he holds his head up quite well, has really strong legs, and likes to be standing up. He get’s excited, stands up, and makes it bounce, he doesn’t really jump yet but he likes to make it bounce and move. We went to Flaming Gorge for the weekend and Coley had a tummy ache some of the time there. We’re not quite sure what caused it, but he’s feeling better now that we are home and he’s back to his normal routine. My sister Shelly get’s married this weekend and Coley is wearing a little tux, so we’ll post some pictures next week of him in the tux.
We are going to have to put Kaya, our black lab down. She has cancer, lymphoma and isn’t doing well. She stopped eating, her hair is falling out like mad, and is hurting… so tomorrow will be a sad day for us.
