I put new pictures on here – a couple from his bath a few weeks ago, a couple from his blessing, a couple of his “little man” outfit yesterday, one of his feet in his flip flops today, and one of him smiling when he woke up this morning! He is getting so big – he weighs 12 lbs now! I can’t believe he is already 7 weeks old! My sister asked me if I’m sad that he is growing up so quick. I can’t say that I’m sad, I just want to enjoy every step of his little life. I’m excited for him to respond more, show his personality, and to watch him learn BUT I love being able to hold, cuddle, and kiss him right now (things I think he’ll grow out of wanting me to do).

Wow! Cole will be 6 weeks old on Wednesday. Boy, where does the time go? He is almost predictable – I don’t know that I would call it a schedule, but I’m learning his patterns. He is a good little eater, and fairly good sleeper. He will do one 5 hour stretch at night, then he’s back to his 3 hour eating routine. He is starting to smile more when we talk to him, he likes baths, and loves to watch the ceiling fan. He holds his head up pretty well and is starting to push off with his legs when we stand him up. He has only pee’d on me once so far when changing his diaper.

He is growing so much – last time I weighed him a few days ago he was 11 pounds and was 23 inches long. He looks long and thin. He is starting to grow out of a couple of his newborn pajamas – length wise only of course!

I will post some more pictures of him soon (when I learn how).
